Phillip W. Stotz, born and raised in West Unity, Ohio. A 1974 graduate of Hilltop High School where he excelled at track and cross country. He lives outside of Edgerton, Ohio, with his wife Tami.

After high school, Phil was awarded a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship to the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Phil ran track and cross country. After 1 ½ years at Michigan, Phil transferred to the Ohio State University and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in real estate.

In 1978, Phil received his real estate license and in 1980 received his Auctioneer license. Appraising real estate was also part of the job and in 1991 he became a certified residential appraiser. In 1998 he received the certified general appraiser credentials. Phil has been in all aspects of the Real Estate Business for over 45 years.

Phil has also established and managed 2 different wineries with the newest one being Michindoh Winery located on their property outside of Edgerton, Ohio.
